Privacy Policy

This policy explains how TensorCortex handles privacy, cookies, and public website information.

Last updated: June 4, 2026

1. Who We Are

TensorCortex is operated by Tensor Cortex LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit the TensorCortex website, public Atlas pages, report previews, and related public materials.

TensorCortex is currently a public research-use product. It does not provide user accounts, patient-facing tools, clinical decision support, or paid services through this website.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect basic technical information that browsers and hosting providers normally process, such as IP address, device and browser type, pages requested, referrer, timestamps, and error logs.

If you contact us by email, we may process the information you send, such as your name, email address, affiliation, message content, and any follow-up context needed to respond.

The public website does not ask you to submit patient data, clinical records, genetic test results, protected health information, or sensitive personal health information.

3. Cookies And Local Preferences

We use a small first-party consent cookie to remember your cookie preference so the website does not ask you again on every visit.

Optional analytics storage is disabled unless you choose to allow it. TensorCortex does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies on the public website.

You can reopen cookie settings from the footer at any time and change your preference.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to operate the website, maintain security, troubleshoot errors, understand aggregate usage if analytics is enabled, respond to messages, and improve public research-use materials.

We do not use public website activity to make medical, diagnostic, treatment, or patient-specific decisions.

5. Legal Bases

Where privacy laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on legitimate interests for basic website operation, security, and responding to inbound communications; consent for optional analytics or non-essential cookies; and legal obligations where required.

You may withdraw optional cookie consent at any time through the footer control.

6. Sharing

We may share limited information with service providers that help host, secure, monitor, or operate the website. These providers may process information only for those operational purposes.

We do not sell personal information and do not share public website activity for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including website operation, security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and communication records.

Cookie preferences may be stored for up to one year unless you change or clear them earlier.

8. Your Choices And Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

You can control cookies through the TensorCortex footer control and through your browser settings.

9. International Visitors

TensorCortex may be operated from the United States and may use service providers in different countries. If you visit from outside the United States, your information may be processed in jurisdictions with different privacy laws.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international processing and transfers.
